I lived in this house for around 3 years from 2013-2016, in two different rooms. It was a house share property which was ran by a company called Housemates.

The house itself is really nice, over 3 stories (plus a basement). There were 5 separate bedrooms, 2/3 bathrooms. My first top floor bedroom got super hot and the window was so small, after that I had the biggest room in the house, 2nd floor at the front.
Kitchen and living room and a decent sized patio/garden at the back. The house itself is a really pretty victorian premises, right near the centre of town. It was nicely furnished.

As far as rentals go I think it was one of the best I've been in. The house itself feels very premium for the money.
Housemates sorted all the bills, council tax, internet, utilities etc. They also cleaned once a week in communal areas. They were really responsive and fixed issues fairly quickly.
Of course a house share is only as good as the other people that lived there. It was mainly younger professionals, people from AstraZeneca/medical companies and also the hospital were common. There were a few tenants that were not great, but on the whole most were nice and considerate and I was happy living there.

On the downside the parking wasn't great. It's a very busy area across the road from the hospital and while we had 2 spaces at the back, there were a few parking wars over the years.
I did at times feel a little guilty for the neighbors, who had such a beautiful and grand house but lived next door to this business, seeing a lot of new people regularly and dealing with some inconsiderate tenants.
