Hello there

Hi, I’m Shane Prendergast, the founder of Propinions. I’m a web developer based in Macclesfield, where I live with my wife and our three dogs.

Like many people, I’ve often felt frustrated when I’ve been in the market for a home — estate agents holding all the cards, polished listings that don’t reflect reality, inflated price tags that ignore the work required, and very little transparency when you’re trying to make one of the biggest decisions of your life.

Propinions is my attempt to fix that. It’s a place where real experiences can be shared openly, helping others make more informed property choices.

Property Opinions

Propinions exists because choosing a home should be based on more than polished photos and clever wording. You deserve to know what others really think it’s like to live somewhere — from the good to the not-so-good — before making some of the biggest purchases of your life.

Why would I use it?
